V. KARL WHITFIELD

Great read! Treated myself to this book as a Christmas present to myself. Did not disappoint.

I enjoyed reading this book as it was well written and was it was hard to put it down. I am waiting on the sequel to see what happens next!!

I just completed reading “THE BOOK” and it was a PAGE TURNER!! It was a great read, and you did a WONDERFUL job!! (I might have to read it again). I’m waiting on the sequel!!

I Read the book and was somewhat disappointed. Carl is an interesting young man, yet the era he grew up in was quite traumatic for a black person. I think you could take this book and turn it into several novels / books, if you tell how the racial issues affected Carl. How did he feel about civil rights issues, did he want to join the marches or get involved in any way? He was affected but it’s lightly mentioned in the book, if mentioned at all. It wasn’t a pretty time, but people persevered, and African Americans now live a much better life. There is now access to education and jobs that were unheard of in the 50’s or even 60’s. Would love to see you turn the book into a novel. Just my opinion for whatever 2 cents is worth.

I finished the book. I struggled to keep up with the characters, there were so many names. I enjoyed the story and can’t wait for the sequel.

Carl was my favorite character in the book. I also liked Pam. Can’t wait for the sequel.

I was jealous of all Carl’s little tricks. He always seemed to be up to something. Are these characters real?

This book is good, very well written. I thought everyone in the story was real. I could relate to the story.
